Friends Li Si and Lin Xiao are transported to a female-scarce post-apocalyptic base, forced to procreate. Lin Xiao, pregnant, stays. Li Si resists, aborts, and returns home. Lin Xiao remains for her daughter. The ending reveals genetic ties and a time loop.
